Reiki healing for the healers

New Reiki practitioner Angie Ortiz came to Odd Zero to create the visual brand for her new practice in Reno. Angie is carving out a niche for herself focusing on reiki and healing services for health care workers. As a former nurse, she knows how much care this population needs in order to provide for others.

I asked Angie to visualize and describe reiki. She quickly answered that it’s a golden spiral coming from her hands. A business owner knows their industry and craft inside and out. The watercolors and illustrations are loose and undulating organic forms. Inspired by Monet’s Impression, Sunrise, the color palette features a soothing selection of colors, with a shot of vivid pink. The aim with this visual brand was to create a rich landscape of texture and color while maintaining a peaceful and uplifted feeling.
